About the Artist...
Swami attended Art and Design school at the University of Kansas in the 1980's, under Mentor Richard Branham. She spent over twenty-five years as a professional Illustrator, and Industrial designer while becoming a Spiritual Teacher. Swami has also been a Sketch Artist for many projects, of which experience, and understanding aide her in her tattoos, providing her with knowledge of a variety of drawing techniques not commonly known to many artists. Swami is educated in Art and Design, and has a B.S. and an M.S. in Psychology, and Social Psychology.
Swami enjoys specializing in Sugar Skulls, and a variety of Spiritual Tattoos, including Angelic Script, Runes, Yantra Prayers, Crosses, and others for Spiritual Protection. Many people travel to Cambodia, and around the globe to have a Priest do their tattoos so that they will benefit from the Spiritual Protection needed to move safely through this life. Swami is a Shamanic Healer, Priest, Priestess Yogi(ni), and Dzogchen Master, and puts her Spiritual 'Magick' into her tattoos to provide a 'touchstone' for her clients to draw upon that Spiritual Energy while about their days and nights. Being a Spiritualist, Psychologist, Life-Coach, Writer, and Healer Swami provides a strong Spiritual Presence and Experience that one cannot find with just any tattoo artist.
Swami believes that we should live our spirituality outwards in a state that the Bible spoke of called Holiness. Holiness is where we are 'separate' from the commonality of the world due to carrying that spirituality in our outward appearance of a specific uniqueness that is practiced by priests, monks, shaman and religious/spiritual peoples all over the world. Spiritual Tattoos can be used to this end, to provide the individual a 'statement' of their beliefs and affiliations. This is very empowering, as Tattoos are very EMPOWERING to the individual who braves that courageous path. The path of the Warrior, Priest, Minister, Musician, and other Spiritual paths. Tattoos tell the world WHO, and WHAT we are, and it is very affirming psychologically, for those with them. They support our personal beliefs and benefits from Tattoos aide us emotionally, mentally/psychologically, energetically, and they are fun to show off physically. Life gives us scars, Tattoos affirm those invisible wounds, and gives them wings to soar.
Swami is a Yogini, and Dzogchen master, healer, shaman and prophet and she has been helping others to find their own authentic voice, and paths for over 25 years. She is the Spiritual Director for the Mystic Tiger Ashram in New Orleans, Louisiana.
